On August 13, the sweltering heat couldn’t stop Tongfu Microelectronics employees from all corners of the globe from gathering at Tongfu Superwei Suzhou to join forces in a friendly basketball tournament celebrating the company’s 25th anniversary! Organized by the Tongfu Superwei Suzhou Sports Committee, this basketball competition is the second event in Tongfu Microelectronics’ “Five Ones” series of activities—highlighting cultural and sports initiatives centered around ball games, specifically designed to mark the company’s quarter-century milestone.
Before the opening ceremony began, each athlete delegation, invited by the staff, left their names on the sign-in wall and posed for group photos against the backdrop wall and banners—capturing these joyful moments of collective celebration in pictures!
At the opening ceremony, Chen Aidong from Tongfu Superwave Suzhou delivered the welcome speech on behalf of the host. Mr. Chen expressed his delight at gathering today with colleagues from various Tongfu Microelectronics subsidiaries to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the group company. On behalf of all employees at Tongfu Superwave Suzhou, he extended a warmest welcome to everyone present, hoping that during this basketball tournament, athletes will not only showcase their skills and sportsmanship but also embody the unique spirit that defines the Tongfu family!
After the speech by Shan Zhaoxing, the athlete representative from Chongchuan Headquarters, the basketball friendly match—part of the series of cultural and sports activities celebrating Tongfu Microelectronics' 25th anniversary—officially kicked off! At this moment, every athlete and staff member at the scene joined in with enthusiastic applause and cheers, lifting the second curtain of Tongfu Microelectronics' quarter-century celebration!
With the joint efforts of all athletes, referees, and staff, this basketball friendly match was successfully concluded after a day of intense competition. At the closing ceremony, Chen Aidong from Tongfu Superwave Suzhou presented awards to the participating teams. The Chongchuan team emerged as the champion, while Tongfu Superwave Suzhou took home the runner-up spot, and the Nantong Tongfu team claimed third place. The fourth-place prize went to the Hefei Tongfu team. As the host extended warm wishes for Tongfu Microelectronics Group's bright future in this new era, the closing ceremony officially came to an end—marking the grand finale of the basketball friendly tournament celebrating Tongfu Microelectronics' 25th anniversary!
