On the afternoon of September 25, the company's 5th Biennial Employee and Union Member Congress was successfully held at the Trade Union Club. Chairman Shi Mingda, Special Assistant to the President and Executive Deputy Director of the President's Office Shen Sumin, Li Jinjian, Secretary of the Tongfu Microelectronics Party Committee, Zhu Haibin, Chairman of the Trade Union, Zhang Yueping, Vice Chairman of the Trade Union, along with nearly 300 union member representatives, attended the meeting. The congress heard the report on the work of the 5th Biennial Employee Congress and the Trade Union, reviewed proposals regarding Tongfu Microelectronics' safety production regulations and the collective contract, and announced the decisions recognizing outstanding union members and model union groups for 2020. The meeting was chaired by Mao Xiangrong, Director of the Trade Union Office.

　　Chairman Zhu Haibin delivered the trade union work report to the congress on behalf of the 5th Trade Union Committee. Chairman Zhu’s report primarily reviewed the company’s trade union’s key activities. He noted that, with strong support from the higher-level trade union and through the concerted efforts of all members, the company’s trade union has been actively working to align closely with the enterprise’s development goals. This includes strengthening internal capacity-building, promoting democratic management, and advancing corporate culture initiatives. In 2020, Tongfu Microelectronics employees worked together seamlessly, successfully balancing epidemic prevention and control with production and operations—achieving zero infections among more than 13,000 employees—while also delivering impressive business results that bucked industry trends and posted robust growth.

　　Since the establishment of the 5th Trade Union Committee, the number of committee members has increased from the original 15 to 23, while the number of branch unions has expanded from 7 to 11. Union funds are strictly managed according to the approved budget. We have successfully organized the Group’s first Employee Sports Meet, as well as numerous cultural and recreational activities, including the annual gala performance. Additionally, we’ve promptly carried out initiatives to show care and support for employees—such as applying for the Huada Fund, providing union subsidies, and encouraging staff donations. We’ve also organized trade union groups to actively participate in activities like competing for the "May Day Women’s Model Posts" and establishing exemplary employee family units at higher-level unions. Furthermore, employee-led cultural and sports associations have joined city-wide vocal and dance competitions, helping the company earn even more accolades. To boost employee engagement, we’ve organized labor competitions across multiple departments and production lines, effectively motivating workers to enhance their productivity and creativity. Meanwhile, we’ve revamped the "Jishi" newspaper and intensified efforts on the Youth League Committee’s WeChat public platform, elevating the company’s corporate culture communication. Lastly, we’ve initiated community-driven initiatives like voluntary blood drives and one-day donation campaigns, demonstrating our commitment to actively participating in social philanthropy and giving back to society.

　　The achievements made in trade union work would not have been possible without the care and attention from higher authorities, the strong support from the company, and, most importantly, the collective efforts of all employees. Moving forward, the trade union will further intensify its efforts, particularly by playing a leading role in connecting with workers as the company continues to grow rapidly. We will also vigorously boost the enthusiasm of committee members and union representatives, ensuring that union activities remain both dynamic and effective while maintaining solid, practical outcomes.

　　At the meeting, Chairman Shi Mingda warmly congratulated the successful convening of the Second Session of the Fifth Employee Congress on behalf of the company, and expressed his gratitude to the union members. 　　The Chairman emphasized that this year is a pivotal one for the company, marking the breakthrough of over 10 billion yuan in production and operations—and serving as the "strong start" toward our ambitious vision of achieving a "10-fold growth over the past decade." Thanks to the collective efforts of all employees and staff, the company has not only overcome challenging external factors such as Sino-U.S. trade tensions and the COVID-19 pandemic but has also seized the opportunities presented by domestic industrialization. As a result, the company has achieved a sales revenue growth rate exceeding 30%, firmly maintaining its leading position within the industry.

　　Currently, the company is standing at an unprecedented opportunity for growth and development. The State Council has issued Document No. 8 to boost the development of the integrated circuit industry. During the symposium on the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region, General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized the need to intensify efforts in tackling key scientific and technological challenges, focusing particularly on critical areas and pivotal links such as integrated circuits, with the aim of achieving breakthroughs at an early date. On behalf of the company, we sincerely hope that all employee representatives and union colleagues present here will continue to serve as effective bridges, promptly conveying the company's major policies and guidelines to employees; proactively addressing employees' legitimate concerns; and promptly sharing their valuable feedback and suggestions—thus playing a vital role in fostering strong grassroots support for the company's ongoing progress and success.
