The "Belt and Road" Countries' Macroeconomic Management Capacity Workshop and the Nantong Study Tour on "High-Quality Integrated Development of China's Famous Cities and Prestigious Universities" visited Tongfu Microelectronics.

On the morning of August 10, participants from 11 countries—including Iraq, Armenia, Afghanistan, Ethiopia, Nepal, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Tunisia, Jordan, and Cuba—who were attending the "Belt and Road" Initiative National Macroeconomic Management Capacity Training Program and the Nantong Study Tour on "High-Quality Integrated Development of China's Famous Cities and Prestigious Universities," organized by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by Nantong University, visited Tongfu Microelectronics. President Assistant Shen Sumin welcomed the delegation and provided an overview of the company’s development and growth.

At the corporate pavilion, Mr. Shen, representing the company, extended a warm welcome to officials, experts, and scholars from various countries. He provided an overview of the company’s basic profile, key development milestones, talent team building, global industry strategy, as well as Tongfu’s commitment to high-quality innovation and its strategic roadmap. This presentation enabled the participants to gain a deeper understanding of how Tongfu Microelectronics leverages technological innovation to drive industry advancement.

Subsequently, the trainees visited the HVP-CC assembly production line.

This event aims to deepen the understanding among government officials and expert scholars from Belt and Road Initiative countries regarding China’s reform and opening-up process as well as its macroeconomic management policies, enabling them to better "tell China's story and spread China's voice." Through this initiative, government officials and experts from various nations gained a firsthand appreciation of Nantong—known as "China’s First Modern City"—further strengthening mutual understanding and recognition between Nantong City, Nantong University, and Belt and Road countries in key areas such as macroeconomics, trade and investment, and cultural and educational exchanges. This, in turn, will foster high-quality integrated development between China’s renowned cities and universities, jointly shaping a new blueprint for the Belt and Road Initiative.

The event visited Tongfu Microelectronics, allowing the training program participants to gain a firsthand understanding of the company, building a "bridge of friendship" that strengthened connections and expanded their personal networks. This initiative also fostered greater mutual complementarity, win-win cooperation, and collaborative progress between the company and countries along the Belt and Road, ultimately leading to more fruitful partnerships.
