On the 28th, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Nantong Science and Innovation Industry High-end Manufacturing Base, along with a centralized signing event for major projects, was held in the Chongchuan Development Zone. At the event, key projects were jointly signed, including Tongfu Microelectronics' integrated circuit project, Suzhou Nanjiguang Electronics'南通 smart IoT chip initiative, Haoji Bio's R&D and production of sterilization products, Suzhou Muxing Intelligent Technology, BioWare Medical, and SLAMTEC Robotics, among others.

　　Liu Hao, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the District Party Committee, attended the event and delivered a speech. He emphasized that since the beginning of this year, Chongchuan District has been firmly focused on the goals of "securing the city's top spot in economic output" and "advancing the district's urban areas up 10 places in the province for high-quality development." The district has strengthened its work orientation toward "prioritizing major projects and aggressively pursuing large-scale initiatives," continuously deepening its efforts under the "Year of Breakthrough in Investment Promotion." The newly inaugurated Southern Communication Innovation Industry High-end Manufacturing Base will become a hub for high-end manufacturing in China's information technology innovation sector, providing robust support for key projects in areas such as integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, and vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technologies. Chongchuan will, as always, uphold the principles of valuing, nurturing, cherishing, and safeguarding businesses, committing itself fully to supporting project construction while doing everything possible to help enterprises overcome challenges and create a first-class business environment.

　　Currently, Chongchuan is actively seizing the opportunities presented by the new wave of technological revolution, positioning the information technology innovation (IT innovation) industry as a new engine for economic growth. The region is striving to build a landmark industrial hub worth over 100 billion yuan. In collaboration with China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the China Software Evaluation Center, and the Information Security Level Protection Assessment Center of the Ministry of Public Security, Chongchuan has already launched the China Nantong Information Technology Application Innovation Industrial Park and the Yangtze River Delta Cybersecurity Industrial Park—both of which are now operational. Leading enterprises and publicly listed companies, such as Sangfor and Qimingxingchen, have already established their presence in the area. Today, the groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Nantong IT Innovation Industry High-end Manufacturing Base, which spans approximately 103 mu and is planned to feature a total construction area of about 80,000 square meters. The project is slated to receive a total investment of 2 billion yuan. Taking standardized factory buildings as its primary entry point, the base is focused on enhancing its capacity-building efforts, laying a solid foundation to attract cutting-edge electronic information manufacturing projects. The successful implementation of this initiative will not only catalyze the cluster development of Chongchuan's IT innovation industry but also pave the way for the city to become a premier national and even global hub for IT innovation.
