For our company, a critical challenge lies ahead—protecting the lives of our employees while ensuring the smooth continuation of normal business operations and production. In response to the current complex and severe situation, the company has placed great emphasis on this issue and swiftly established a leading task force for epidemic prevention and production assurance, with the president serving as its leader. This team is tasked with comprehensively planning and implementing all measures aimed at both preventing the spread of the virus and maintaining stable production activities within the company.

All employees are the company’s most valuable asset and the driving force behind our significant progress over the past several decades. Without you, Tongfu wouldn’t be where it is today. Therefore, fulfilling your duties diligently and in accordance with company guidelines isn’t just about personal accountability—it’s also the greatest support you can offer to the company’s efforts in epidemic prevention and production assurance.

The epidemic has surged fiercely, and online information is diverse and often confusing—disrupting everyone’s peace of mind while also creating challenges for the company’s production operations. To secure victory in this battle, the company has made extensive efforts. Through various channels—including shop windows, display boards, WeChat work groups, Party member study groups, union groups, and emails—we’ve vigorously promoted accurate knowledge about the virus, widely shared effective prevention and control strategies, and thoroughly communicated the company’s comprehensive policies and measures aimed at tackling the outbreak. Inside the factory premises, temperature checks have been implemented, and each department now meticulously records employees’ daily health conditions. Multiple disinfection methods are employed to eliminate germs and ensure a safe environment, such as using 84 Disinfectant, 75% alcohol, high-efficiency filters combined with UV light, and even nano-silver ion-based disinfectants. Additionally, we conduct daily screenings of employees’ movements and health statuses, firmly discouraging workers from high-risk areas from returning to work. For those already on-site, we’ve strictly enforced internal medical observation and self-isolation protocols as required by regulations. To minimize workplace gatherings, we’ve encouraged employees who can work remotely to complete their tasks from home using tools like email, WeChat, and the office automation system (OA). Meanwhile, we’ve introduced flexible meal schedules organized by time slots and even set up temporary smoking areas—all designed to protect employee health and safety while striving to overcome this tough challenge as soon as possible. All these measures and dedicated efforts are driven by our commitment to safeguarding the well-being of every employee. During the Spring Festival, while maintaining strict vigilance against the epidemic, our company, with government approval and under the effective control of on-site personnel, continued uninterrupted production. Starting February 10, the company has gradually resumed full-scale production in accordance with the government's unified deployment. While ensuring compliance with the government's "five key measures" for epidemic prevention and control, the company urges all employees to uphold the fine work ethic of courageously dedicating themselves and excelling in tackling tough challenges—contributing their part and fulfilling their responsibilities toward the nation's strength.
