Tongfu Microelectronics' First Employee Sports Meet Successfully Held

In the golden autumn month of October, as the sweet fragrance of osmanthus fills the air, Tongfu Microelectronics' first-ever Employee Sports Meet was grandly held on October 20 at the Nantong Vogue Sports & Fitness Center Gymnasium.

Attendees at the opening ceremony included Tongfu Microelectronics Chairman Shi Mingda, President Shi Lei, and other leaders, while more than 500 employees from various Sites and Divisions across the group participated in the event.
At 8:30 a.m., the opening ceremony of the sports event commenced promptly. To the backdrop of the majestic athletes' march, six teams—representing Chongchuan Headquarters, Nantong Tongfu, Hefei Tongfu, Suzhou Tongfu Chaowei, Malaysia Tongfu Chaowei, and the Fun Competition Team—marched proudly and energetically past the stage where the conference chairman was seated. Each team showcased its unique identity through distinctive attire and spirited slogans, embodying the vibrant spirit and dynamic energy of Tongfu Microelectronics employees, as well as their unwavering determination to strive for excellence and continuous progress. Their impressive display earned enthusiastic rounds of applause from the assembled staff and executives.
After the sports parade concluded, Shi Lei, President of Tongfu Microelectronics, delivered the opening speech. He said, "Today, we celebrate the 22nd anniversary of Tongfu Microelectronics in a special and meaningful way—by hosting our first-ever employee sports meet, a joyful gathering that brings together the entire Tongfu family. On behalf of the Group's management team, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all employees, as well as words of encouragement and gratitude to every athlete, referee, and staff member involved. He emphasized that, over the past 22 years, Tongfu Microelectronics has grown into a globally recognized, internationalized, and diversified multinational corporation, ranking sixth worldwide and employing more than 13,000 dedicated professionals. While relentlessly pursuing growth and development, the Group has also placed great emphasis on fostering and advancing its corporate culture. Hosting this inaugural employee sports meet not only aligns with our fundamental commitment to promoting the holistic and balanced development of our workforce but also serves as a concrete practice for championing our corporate culture and uniting everyone’s efforts toward common goals. This event is sure to propel Tongfu Microelectronics toward even greater harmony and success. Finally, he encouraged all athletes to embrace the spirit of unity and collaboration, demonstrating resilience and determination as they compete with style and excellence. At the same time, he urged them to prioritize safety, ensuring that the games proceed smoothly and conclude successfully."
Following this, Shi Mingda, Chairman of Tongfu Microelectronics, declared the sports event open. The venue erupted in cheers, and colorful flags danced gracefully in the air.
After the opening ceremony, athletes from each participating team immediately headed to their designated areas for the various events, kicking off a series of intense yet well-organized competitions. This year’s sports meet featured a diverse range of exciting and entertaining events. Fun activities like pressure-board jump rope, centipede race-walk, sandbag accuracy throw, land-based dragon boat racing, and the hilarious "Pigsy Carrying His Wife" contest drew continuous laughter and cheers from the spectators. Meanwhile, basketball players battled fiercely, leaving no quarter as they unleashed all their energy, their passionate shouts and encouragement echoing loudly across the court. On the ping-pong and badminton courts, athletes showcased their top-notch skills, delivering thrilling rallies that kept the audience cheering enthusiastically. Meanwhile, on the outdoor soccer field, four teams went head-to-head in a fiercely contested match, with the score remaining tightly balanced. The relentless tackles, spectacular goal-scoring moments, and breathtaking plays left everyone mesmerized and awestruck. In the afternoon, Chairman Shi Mingda and President Shi Lei also joined the competition, each taking part in the ping-pong and basketball events, respectively.
After a day of intense and thrilling competitions, all events concluded smoothly, with the athletes achieving remarkable results. In the end, the Chongchuan Factory team stood out brilliantly, clinching championships in four events. Suzhou Tongfu Chaowei fully showcased their technical and tactical prowess, securing second place in four events. Nantong Tongfu earned third place in both table tennis and basketball, while Hefei Tongfu and Penang Tongfu Chaowei took home third spots in football and badminton, respectively. In the fun competitions, the Chongchuan Factory’s A1 team exemplified their fearless and determined spirit, claiming first place outright. The A3 team finished as runners-up, with the Surface Treatment Center and Team T3 tying for third place.
At the closing ceremony, Shi Mingda, Chairman of Tongfu Microelectronics Group, congratulated the outstanding performing teams on behalf of the group company, and extended his heartfelt sympathies to all the determined athletes and dedicated staff members. He highly praised the teams' relentless spirit of striving for excellence and setting new benchmarks, commending their passionate display of the "tenacious fighting spirit and pioneering ambition" through sports competition. This inspiring attitude has infused the company with fresh momentum, motivating every employee to wholeheartedly pursue our "Tongfu Dream."
At the closing ceremony, Tongfu Microelectronics Union and the Youth League Committee also presented appointment letters to the 12 chairpersons of the employee cultural and sports associations.
