On April 15, the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government convened a city-wide manufacturing conference combined with a meeting on private-sector economic development. Lu Zhipeng, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, delivered an important speech, while Han Liming, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, chaired the meeting and also spoke.

Other leading officials from the city's four core leadership teams also attended the meeting.
