The company union organized a lecture on breast disease prevention and awareness.

In recent years, the incidence of breast diseases has been on the rise. To show care for the health of female employees and raise awareness about breast disease prevention and management among our workforce, the company union organized a special event. On the afternoon of March 6, the union invited Deputy Chief Physician Ma Jiali from the Department of Breast and Thyroid Surgery at the City’s Third People’s Hospital to deliver a lecture on breast disease prevention and treatment. Approximately 160 female employees attended the session to listen and learn.

　　During the lecture, Director Ma focused on topics such as breast disease prevention and daily health care, clearly and concisely explaining the causes, symptoms, preventive measures, and treatment options for common conditions like mammary hyperplasia, fibroadenoma, breast cysts, mastitis, and breast cancer—using straightforward language that was easy to understand. In particular, she emphasized essential breast health knowledge and self-examination techniques for detecting breast abnormalities early. She also highlighted that breast cancer is a disease whose incidence has been steadily rising year by year, underscoring the importance of timely diagnosis for superficial breast tumors. Director Ma urged women of all age groups to remain vigilant against the increasing prevalence of common breast disorders, stressing the need to adopt proactive, healthy attitudes toward disease prevention and management—ensuring that any illness is treated promptly while maintaining robust preventive practices even when no issues are present. With her wealth of knowledge, engaging explanations, and compelling real-life examples, Director Ma deeply resonated with the female employees in attendance, earning them enthusiastic rounds of applause.

　　After the lecture, many female employees consulted Director Ma about their own health as well as the situations of their family members and friends. Director Ma patiently answered their questions one by one and provided personalized prevention and treatment plans. Additionally, Director Ma conducted individual check-ups for several female employees in the company’s medical office, leaving everyone feeling deeply grateful for the valuable insights they gained.
