On June 16, on the eve of the centenary celebration of the Party's founding, the third teleconference of the Group Company's Safety Production Committee was held in Conference Room 10 of the office building. Group President Shi Lei attended the meeting and put forward specific requirements.

The meeting first reviewed the important instructions from General Secretary Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang regarding the recent gas explosion accident in Shiyan, Hubei Province, and conveyed the spirit of the safety committee meetings held at both the Jiangsu Province and Nantong City levels. The meeting then provided an update on the company’s recent safety production status and highlighted key safety considerations for the summer season. Additionally, attendees discussed several critical issues related to safe production.

At the conclusion of the meeting, President Shi Lei outlined specific requirements for the next phase of safety efforts. He emphasized that, as the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China approaches, all organizations—be it central government bodies, local authorities, or enterprises—must prioritize safety and stability above all else, firmly upholding the "red line" awareness and adopting a "bottom-line" mindset. Safety management must be effectively implemented through meticulous, detailed practices, ensuring the establishment of a robust and comprehensive safety management system. At the same time, safety management initiatives should continuously evolve, with ongoing efforts to enhance the professional skills and expertise of safety personnel. Additionally, companies are encouraged to proactively explore innovative solutions by embracing specialized and intelligent management approaches to tackle challenges head-on. President Shi also noted that, in today’s dynamic environment, the company is currently riding a wave of favorable opportunities. He cautioned against hesitating to embrace change out of fear of potential risks, stressing that the company must strike a balanced approach between growth and safety, ultimately achieving dual success in both development and security—and thereby fostering a positive atmosphere leading up to the party’s centennial celebration.
