　　On the morning of April 1, Nantong City's Innovation and Development Conference was held at the Nantong International Convention Center. The conference comprehensively outlined the city's plans for science and technology innovation development during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, as well as the construction of the Yangtze River Economic Belt Science and Technology Innovation Corridor. It also aimed to accelerate efforts toward building a national-level innovative city of a higher standard, providing robust scientific and technological support for Nantong as it embarks on a new journey to fully build a modern socialist society—and for its role as a pioneering force in striving to be among the province's top performers in both competition and leadership.

　　The conference announced the winners of the 2019 National Science and Technology Progress Award and Provincial Science and Technology Awards, as well as the 2020 Provincial Science and Technology Awards and Enterprise Innovation Awards, and the Nantong City winners of the 21st China Patent Excellence Award—among whom Tongfu Microelectronics was honored with the 21st China Patent Excellence Award.

　　At the meeting, President Shi Lei delivered a speech as the representative of Nantong's entrepreneurs. He called on business leaders across the city to earnestly study Zhang Jian's spirit and translate it into concrete actions, dedicating themselves to building strong industries that serve the nation. In their respective sectors, industries, and enterprises, he urged them to deeply cultivate technological innovation, strive to catch up with and even surpass global industry leaders, and ultimately contribute meaningfully to Nantong's economic development and its advancement in science and technology.
